Nowadays, Music Center produces more than 200,000 different kinds of pads. You can find all kinds of pads for saxophone, clarinet, flute, piccolo, oboe, english horn, bassoon, contrabassoon and recorder, with different technical aspects and qualitiy. It is possible to have different kinds of felt, leather, bladder, resonators, cardboard with customer brand name, addition of other materials, … Then, there are different diameters, thicknesses, holes, … Pad sets are available for the following instruments: Altus, Amati, Armstrong, Artley, B&S, Blessing, Boosey & Hawkes, Borgani, Branner Brothers, Buffet Crampon, Bulgheroni, Bundy, Burkhart & Phelan, Conn, Dixon, Emerson, Fox, Gemeinhardt, Grassi, Guo, Hammerscmidt, Hammig, Haynes, Howarth, Jupiter, Keilwerth, King, Kreul, Kung, L.A. Generally speaking there are available "standard" quality and "deluxe" quality pads. The level of quality is generated above all by the quality of the raw materials used but also by the production process and by the quality controls and final selection. But there are available also other qualities. For example among the flute pads, there are available 6 levels of quality: "Mypads" for the "standard" quality, "Premium deluxe" for the "deluxe" quality with wowen felt; "Lucien deluxe" for the "deluxe" quality with special treated pressed felt; "Blue Sound" and "Red Sound" for professional flutes and "STAR LP" for the best professional flutes. The "Sound" series and the "STAR LP" are not traditional pads, assembled using new materials such as a kind of synthetic material and a light metal, whose quality is enthusiastically appreciated by many important players and handmade flute makers . For the clarinet, there are available pads with bladder or with leather, in "standard" or "deluxe" quality. All kinds of felts, special bladders, many different types of leather, give the possibility to create the right pad to each brand There is available an excellent deluxe waterproof leather used both for clarinet pads and above all for sax pads, of the "deluxe waterproof" quality serie. It is now available a special waterproof leather in dark brown colour. For some bassoon pads it is used a very smooth goat leather and a special green felt, which give interesting features to those pads.
